Purchased this tent about 4 years ago from Amazon and have used it once or twice a year since then and are very happy with it. As usual with tents they claim you can fit many more people in than is really practical. This tent claims to be for 5 people and of course you can fit five people in as long as they are 1) not all full grown adults and 2) dont mind being very close to one another. In practice this is an excellent two or three person tent. You can just fit 1 double and 1 single inflatable mattresses in or two single inflatable mattresses with space left over for luggage. The best things about this tent are the porch area and the easy construction. You can put this tent up by yourself BUT its really easy with two of you. Once done a few times expect it to be up in under twenty minutes. You put the outer part up first so the inner sleeping compartment is done last. Great if its raining. Also you can leave the inner tent unused and use the whole area as a large under cover communal space if camping in a bigger group who nave tents to sleep in. The ceiling of the main porch area stands high enough that most people do not have to stoop once inside. There is also room for a decent 4 person camping table and chairs to sit at once the evening gets too cold to be outside. The bag it comes in is not that easy to carry around and one person would not want to carry it more than a few hundred yards on their own. But perfect if you are camping with a car and can park closeish to the pitch.
We bought this as our starter tent. It is very spacious and does the job. The only downsides to this the zips along the end are very awkward and difficult to get closed. It would also be a huge plus if there was an organizer down the middle of the 2 bedroom "doors" But I guess you what you pay for. It is a basic tent but a very reasonable price. I would 100% recommend this tent. We are a family of 4 and space wise it has plenty!! We use 2 double blow-up mattresses and they fit in fine. Looking forward to more trips with this tent
Great for 2.
I bought this tent in June, waited till now to review, so i could pass a fair judgement. Having never camped, well not since i did the festival rounds years ago, I was looking for a cheap way to 'get away' ...thought camping in comfort could be the option... I bought this tent as I wanted a roomy tent for two, after reading other reviews, searching 100's of tents, I decided, Dome (As not massive footprint but plenty room for 2 + head height hopefully ment I would not spend my days bent in a shrimp-like position!... I figured from what other reviews said, erecting this one by Myself and my capable 10yr old daughter was a possibility...An all strong female camp. If I had written this after our 1st outing, I would have been spitting feathers at what a nightmare this tent is. Regretting my decision to not go with the Tunnel designs and opting for the Dome! The Dome... crazy hard to raise!! Anyhow after 6 further camping trips.... It's a 20min job! Somebody MUST go inside the tent and hold the dome poles when raising...Do not forget that really useful info!!!! I would STRONGLY advise putting this up a few times/getting to grip with it before your trip, seriously, it will save you a lot of public embarrassment! I bought a Coleman awning (A Must) after camping trip 3, As the water DOES fall in when porch is open + The awning added extra room and covered the useless netty bit at top of dome. which 'u say' is for ventilation, I'd say and insect paradise! Also...it's misleading, there is only one set of tent porch poles provided. Have endured a couple of crazy windy/stormy/rainy nights...Held up wonderfully well!!! All in all, now I have my head around how to put this tent up/take down...It's was great buy for 2. Completely converted to sleeping under the stars with home from home comforts.

An excellent tent for a couple or a couple and one toddler.
I sold tents for years and this is my favourite so far. After much research I bought this tent because of the design features. 1. There is a rare overhaning porch - meaning you can leave the door open in heavy rain and the door itself is sheltered. You can put on boots in the sheltered spot. 2. Blackout fabric. Oh boy, this is a big one. We have a two year old and for a first time ever mummy and daddy got to sleap in. The blackout fabric isnt perfect but it does what its meant too. Also allows for having a hundred watt light bulb in the porch and not waking the tyrant. 3. Complete sown in groundsheet. This covers the entire footprint of the tent so no bugs can get in. iots also fairly draft proof so its a bit warmer in cold weather. Of course this affects condensation but I like the fact the the beasties - including mice - cant get in. 4. Other features; Awesome tablet sized shelving. Power slot for electricary coming in. Windows and blinds. Good ventilation at the back. 5. Excellent pole sleeves make for easy assembly. The tent goes up a dream. Fast and stress free. The hardest part of this in a normal tent is the sleeves which catch the poles and tangle. The sleeves on this tent allow the poles to slip right through without too much resistance. This makes a big different. The cons are as follows: The orange tabs which stop the zips at specific points need to be snipped so that you can take power into the interior of the tent(assuming you know how to be safe). The divider between the two compartment is hard to fit in the dark - which it will be because its blackout. Waterproofing above the windows is not as good as it could be or as good as its stated (4500hh?).
The perfect tent in every way!
This tent is amazing....Used it this weekend at a family camp out / birthday party and I had a line of interested mums and dads checking out the bedrooms. My top 10 favourites about this tent. 1) The blackout bedrooms are fabulous and they really do work. This is a game changer compared to our last tent and it is completely dark even in the bright morning sun. Excellent for the kids and the parents who really needed a lay in after a late night! 2) Great size, decent living space, good head height. 3) Easy to set up - 2 people, 20 mins max, Colour coded poles - and most impressively no arguments! 4) The door is very clever, it has a simple porch that protects from the rain and the front folds down flat so its easy to sweep out! 5) Solid and sturdy - we used this last weekend and had the usual British mix of rain, wind and sunshine. This tent dealt with it all with ease. 6) The bedroom - as well as being extremely dark, you can also let in light by adjusting the vents in the door. The bedroom comes with a divider so it can be one big room or two separate cabins 7) Pockets for storage - these run down the front of the bedroom and there are 6 or 7 of them. Perfect for small items (especially sunglasses!) 8) Large windows (but with curtains for privacy as on one side someone had parked very close) and mesh on the front door. 9) Decent packaged size (not too big or heavy) and it actually went back in to the bag afterwards 10) Lantern clips - plenty of clips to hang up a lantern (you will need one in the bedroom). Our youngest insisted on going to sleep with the lantern on. We love this tent!
Roomy space for one woman and her dogs
I go camping with two dogs so I needed a sewn in groundsheet and preferably a large enough bedroom for my double blow up mattress and their beds. This proved just perfect. I question 5 men sleeping comfortably but it worked for us. The blackout bedrooms were lovely, slept till 10am one morning! Due to time constraints I didn't practice beforehand, didn't even take it out of the bag. I did however watch the video for the order of doing things. I took my old pegs and spare guy ropes just in case. I used my pegs as they had better grip than the standard metal type supplied. I managed to get it up in just under an hour on my own with no issues at all. That hour was arrival to being moved in for the week, mattress blown up and bed made. Not bad for a first time I thought, even with the dogs trying to 'help'. I didn't opt for two bedrooms just took out the divider to have one room for all of us. I don't think my mattress would have fitted in just one room anyway. The only hiccup I had during the week was a tear in the porch along the pole stitching that extended into the fabric. Nothing to affect the structure and easily mended. I suspect dogs running into the guy rope was the culprit. To aid visibility at night I threaded a thin solar light rope around the upper guy points. Worked a treat. A gazebo as an additional porch and a very comfortable stay despite heat and storm.

Just put this up on my own in 20 mins, plenty of space inside good quality tent not used in poor weather but will review again after using in the field ! . Update.. Used several times and in some very bad weather with no leaks 👍
Not as big as you'd think for a 5 person tent.
Great tent for 2 people and a dog. You can't stand up in it (unless shorter than 5'7") and I would not like to fit 5 people in although it would be possible (sardines). That said it withstood a very heavy thunderstorm lasting a good half an hour and all remained dry.
Ideal for festivals
the first expensive tent i've ever purchased, bought it as an upgrade from my usual january sales bargain for festivals - Just got back from this V festival this year and not only did it cope with weather and rain but it also did a great job of packing away as it comes in the most forgiving bag i've ever seen for a tent. Wasn't too hot but neither was the weather and there was definitely enough room for 2 - 4 people comfortably or the advertised 5 if you're into orgies/human spoonapedes. 3 poles to set it up, bit tricky with 2 people but certainly doable.
