Does the job - with muscles or cunning.
Decent, cheap tool for diy. Does need a lot of force to do 22mm - why oh why can't they make the handles longer? I gave up on the recommendations and start the bend the correct way (short arm on the ground, pulling the roller round) until the tube hits the deck, then flip it over and put my weight on the short arm, keeping the other end of the tube or the former off the ground if necessary. I still got good bends.
Its brilliant for professional plumbers !
It’s a great bit of kit , and it does the job, I would say get this if your really doing a lot of plumbing! It is very heavy use tho , 5.6KG as you can see in the pictures I haven’t got much room to work with and having to carry this outside each time I need to do a cut and try to hold it up and bend the pipes is a bit difficult on my own. I had a work mate ie mate or a Vice then happy days! It’s very strong and very well made! I would suggest buy it if you don’t want cheap crap which brakes!
I have used this bender often and use the Rothenberger one which is provided by my employer and I feel that this one is far smoother to use and produces better bends. (used on 15 and 22mm copper pipe)

TOP QUALITY AT MEDIUM PRICE - buy with total confidence
I chose to avoid both the cheaper and the priciest brands. There are some very expensive benders by a name very well-known in the trade, beginning with R and ending with what sounds like a hot dog but is surely a mountaineer, and there are also, I think (judging by some dubious reviews), some FAKE R-brand benders being sold online. Having avoided all these I bought the MONUMENT bender, and am very glad I did. At almost eighty years of age I can only just bend a 22mm pipe unaided, so I have used extension pipes on the arms of the Monument bender to increase leverage, with total success and without distorting the arms of the bender itself. The MONUMENT bender is clearly designed to be more than strong enough, not designed down to a price (but as a result of skimpy manufacture very soon useless, as some cheap makes surely are). The movement of the MONUMENT bender is very firm, without play, but also smooth. Neither is the Monument bender inferior to the more expensive machines on offer. It is clear that no matter what the price of competitors they cannot be better in design or function. The bends produced by the Monument bender are smooth, and free of ripples and side-ridges. (I suspect that one reviewer who said it flattened his 22mm pipe forgot to put the SLIDING GUIDE into place. OF COURSE any bender will squash the pipe if the slide is left out and the roller alone therefore applies only a line of pressure to the pipe.) There is no reason to pay more than the £57 I paid for the Monument bender. (I see that the price is now greater, but it is well worth that extra.) It is not designed to be clamped into a vice, but it is possible, with care, to clamp it. I have done so, even using a very poor clamping device - a Black and Decker Workmate - and a bit of ingenuity could soon devise an adapter to suit the Monument bender and so fix it very firmly in a normal bench vice for long-term use. The usual angle indicators are permanently moulded into the curved segments, so an accurate angle of curve is always possible. The MONUMENT pipe bender is a very wise choice. Take no notice of adverse reviews, which seem to be based on amateur or unskilled users' opinions. I recommend the MONUMENT bender very highly (and I have no shares in Monument and nothing to gain; you can trust my integrity). Eric Franklin
Does the trick
Quiete a bit of weight to them but seem to do the trick so far, done numerous bends and they seem to be a solid set of benders, easier to handle as they’re slightly bigger than other brands which gives you more leverage when bending 22

Works very well!
This Siverline MS129 Mini Pipe Bender will bend 4.76mm, 6mm and 8mm,10mm pipes (3/16, 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8). I had no trouble bending a 3 meter long, 6mm thick cupro nickle Kunifer pipe. Grease the top and bottom runners on the bender. Spray lubricant in the pivot joints. Slight or sharper bends can sometimes be done progressively and meticulously with your thumb and fingers if the pipe is thin enough for you to do so. Avoid splitting, creasing or narrowing the pipe by trying to bend it in one move. Take your time when using the pipe bender: Feed the pipe towards you and towards the handle along the bottom curved runner. The zero "0" marker indicates where the pipe will start to bend when you rest the top, flat runner over the top of the pipe. Remember, the pipe can be bent upward, downward, bent slightly over to the left or slightly over to the right depending on how you have placed it on the runner - relative to the first bend you have already made along the pipe when feeding it through. Hold the bottom handle and slowly operate the top lever to bend the pipe downwards. The leverage on the handle makes bending the pipe easy, so don't apply too much force. It's like using a large scissors except the bottom handle is kept steady. The marker goes round from 0 to 180 degrees. Always bend the pipe a little way at a time. Use the old pipe as a template, if you have one, to check when you have reached the correct angle (and that you are bending in the right direction!).
Good for Occasional Use
What seemed like a simple job of changing the wheel cylinders on my MG became a bigger job when some brake pipes needed replacing too. The ones on the car had been put on badly so I decided to purchase a proper tool to do better job of forming up the new pipes. This is a cheap tool and it feels like it in the hand but with a bit of care it will form good, tidy bends in small bore pipes. I'd recommend it for occasional use. As ever, if it's your first time of doing a job then watch a few videos on YouTube where almost identical tools are demonstrated, and it will all become clear!
Very easy to use and great value
Faced with my first ever 10mm & 8mm pipe repairs on an old central heating system, it was either lots of expensive Conex compression fittings (little ones cost more than 15mm ones) or bite the bullet and buy/try a pipe bender. Various reviews said they're not easy to use and it pays to practice so I did two trial bends on a spare pipe then went for it. Contrary to some comments, this is really easy to use and very easy to get just the right bends in the right places so don't hold back, especially at this price. This has now been added to my box of favourite DIY tools.
