Absolutely amazing
Bought this so I didn't have to tape my glass panelled doors - and it takes paint off glass like butter. Thought I'd also try it on the oven - steamed up the oven first, then used the tool - result can be seen in the photo - oven was filthy and it just peels the dirt off. Took about 5 minutes to clean the whole door and it looks almost like new. So much better than using any toxic cleaners etc which barely made a difference last time i tried
Goodbye to stubborn stickers and more..
The media could not be loaded. Can’t publish more than one video here so can’t show the entire process of removing a stubborn sticker, but this thing is fantastic. I love it. i have used it for several things, silicon, grout, stickers of all kinds, glue, double sided tape.. I also gave my self a good manicure (definitely not recommended) it is sharp and can cut you quite badly. Also be careful when trying to use both sides, you have to remember to replace the cover or you'll cut yourself for sure.
Great versatile scraper
Great product. Don't normally write reviews but this didn't have many and I thought it was a great product. Come with five replacement blades of both type. The blades are changed by unscrewing the knob and then sliding the blade out sideways. It's a little fiddly to begin with but soon becomes easy. I underestimated the usefulness of the plastic blades. They are made from hard plastic and let you scrape things a little more gently if you are scraping on a softer surface and don't dig in like the metal ones do. The fact that it has end caps means this is a tidy little package that can be carried around without fear of stabbing yourself. Highly recommended!
This is an excellent product. Could not believe I was scraping my expensive glass hob with a blade but it works. Every mark gone. Simple and easy and no messy chemicals.
Finally Scratches free and like new oven
Delivery was super fast. The scraper work simply amazing with my oven. The dirt was so crusty and stubborn that I tried literally everything and nothing worked. But Minky Hob Scraper was unbelievable and no scratches at all.
Amazing for easy cleaning.
I wish I had filmed this bad boy in use, it's incredible at getting brunt oil off oven glass and pyrex. I used it on our oven floor, which we had already tried to clean, and it immediately stripped off years of stubborn grease that no scrubbing could budge. So happy I bought one for my dad and friend, and my dad just rang me to say how thrilled he was with it. Sounds a bit weird to be so excited about a scraper, but it saves so much time and effort it really is so satisfying to use. I'm kind of annoyed I've got nothing else to clean now cos I want to use it again lol. The only annoyance is that it can be a bit hard to clean and if you rinse it, the blade will rust if you don't dry it immediately. The blade is nested between the plastic at the top and another reviewer here explains how it can be released (see the questions and answers section above). When I did this, the blade came shooting out across the room (might have put too much effort in it lol) and it was a bit clumsy to do. I would improve the design by making it easier to dismantle. I think the blade is double sided so can be turned around and used again. Be careful with it cos it's super sharp. Frustrating that the instructions do not explain how to open the device to switch the blade. It's still amazing though and a great price at between £3 - £4. There are other scrapers out there and I've only tried this one so I can't comment on how it competes, but it is very effective. Even though the handle is plastic, it feels sturdy. Don't know how many times you can take it apart and put it back together before it breaks though. Would advise anyone to get one really.
Amazing bit of kit.
I had allowed a layer of grease to build up on my induction hob and was disappointed to find that I couldn’t remove it with hob brute, pink stuff or cif. This bit of kit is amazing. It removed the layer easily and left the hob looking like new. Highly recommended.
Brilliant at removing burnt on fat etc
I tried everything to remove the years of baked on fat on my tray and nothing would shift it. I thought I would try this scraper as one last try before I ordered a new tray and the results are amazing. Easy to use and you can hide the blade on the scraper to store. Defiantly happy I bought it as you can see from my photos it’s amazing.
