Garmin HRM-Pro™ Premium Heart-rate Monitor with Dual Transmission and Running Dynamics, Black
- HRM-Pro heart rate transmitter
- This premium heart rate strap tracks runs, swims and more. It transmits real-time heart rate data over ANT+ connectivity and Bluetooth Low Energy technology, giving you more training options
- The device stores heart rate data during swimming or other activities while your watch is out of range, then sends that data to your watch once the activity is finished
- HRM-Pro features a small, lightweight heart rate monitoring module that is no wider than the width of the soft, comfortable strap
Love it! I’ve only had it a few days but it’s definitely added an extra level of accuracy in monitoring my heart rate zones. Slight variation to Garmin Fenix 5X and albeit slight it’s enough to make an impact when training. Good quality, comfortable or as comfortable as it could be. Probably could have gotten away with the Garmin HRM Run but went for this to cover all bases. Well worth it.
Accurate and comfortable
More accurate than my garmin fenix 6. Pairs quickly. Survives regular washing. Fits well and stays in place. Used for gym, running, cycling.
Great device can't go wrong
I've used my Garmin heart rate senior on many runs now and I can say it really does make a big difference, I certainly feel my heart rate measurements are a tad bit more accurate with. You also get the ability to see more metrics in the Garmin connect app which really helps, has helped me improve my gate and posture while running, I haven't used it for cycling or swimming yet but it's definitely going to get a test when the time comes. Fits comfortably for me, my chest is 42" so have no problems there it's also very comfortable and I don't feel it while running, only grip is that I have pretty big late so it does slide down sometimes but not enough to cause any issues. The battery life has no complaints from me, been using it on a regular basis and it's still on full charge, wonders of a cell battery, it was a tad bit expensive but all in all I'd say it was definitely money well spent for me
Good but expensive for the extra features
Bought to replace a broken Garmin HRM-run. The HRM-pro is very expensive and there's not much to the extra use cases over the run or tri versions. If you swim, or want to count steps when you can't wear a watch, then this is for you. Otherwise it's almost identical to the cheaper Garmin HRMs.
It’s Garmin. Therefore it works
I love all things Garmin. And now I love this. Reason for purchase, I lost my dual HRM. I already have a HRM-Tri, but for Zwift etc it needs ANT+ Now this HRM is effectively 2 HRM’s in 1. Garmin solved a very common problem. Gives all the metrics of the HRM-Tri with the added benefit of HRM-Dual connectivity it fits as comfortable as them as well. Devices paired with. Apple TV4K Apple IPhone 12 Pro Max Apple iPad Air 2 Garmin 935XT Garmin Edge 1000 I highly recommend this device.

Very accurate and easy to put on.
Nice heart rate strap. Very accurate (ie: if I compare manually checking my pulse then it's spot on with the readings from this heart rate strap). The Beat app can sometimes say that the Polar H10 may be connected to another app and therefore it doesn't let you see your heart rate at that time (which can be annoying because it's not connected to any other app). I have to then either turn off bluetooth on my smart phone and then the Beat app will say Polar beat wants to connect to bluetooth or I have to restart my smart phone). Either way works. I wear my Polar H10 strap throughout the day whilst I'm at work (I'm a driving instructor so I'm sitting down alot). I use it as to keep a general eye on my pulse rate (I suffer with a mild form of CFS, so I make sure I rest if my pulse goes to high for me). It is comfortable but odd times can tend to dig into my skin (not painfully, just a bit uncomfortable at that time). Although I can pull the strap away from my skin (a little) and then it's comfortable again for several hours. It's hidden under my shirt so nobody knows I'm wearing it. I don't need to wet it as it suggests because it picks up my pulse easily without wetting the sensors. It's possible that if I did have some type of lube on the rubber sensors that it may stay comfortable throughout the day (I haven't tried it). Overall I do recommend this especially for its accuracy!
Excellent real time real time exercise data
I've had this chest monitor for a month now. I bought it as I had an ICD implant a few months ago and wanted to have something that gave me an accurate check on my heart as I was exercising. I've only used it in the walking mode but it is really excellent. Gives feedback to my Motorolo G Power phone which I bought at the same time so I could have continuous output as I was walking. The Polar Android app is excellent and gives a full report on the exercise activity which is stored on the phone. It has a lot of other bells and whistles that I've not investigated yet. My chest is 44/45". The box for the H10 says it is M-XXL and with the strap fully expanded it fits me perfectly. The only issue I've found so far is that the GPS can drop out - I've had this happen maybe once in my 7km once - so not a frequent issue. It seems to only drop out in cloudy conditions and only on a stretch of my walk which is through a fairly quick wood. Overall though excellent tool that meets my needs exactly.
best in class, but beware strap size.
AS others have mentioned the Medium/2X-Large is not that large. I do not consider myself that big (38/39" chest) and it was far too tight for me. I have never had this problem with previous polar straps. After some research it appears that there is a XXXL strap. BUT YOU CANNOT BUY IT WITH THE H10. (confirmed by Polar). So you have 3 options, - buy the XXXL separately aprx£30 - sew in an extension, quite easy but would upset any warranty. - return to Polar (postage nearly £7) for a swap. After excellent customer service I did the latter, only finding out later that you only get the postage back if you buy it direct from them. Having said that, and trying some other straps, it is by far the best. The Wahoo was good but does not have the 5 kHz connectivity, others sounded good but connectivity was very bad unless you had the strap very tight. So I do not regret the purchase to replace my old Polar H7, it would be 5 stars but for the hassle with the strap.
