Surprisingly good high DPI wireless mouse
The main reason anyone will be looking at the TeckNet mouse is price; it’s one of the cheapest high DPI wireless mice that is delivered from the UK. Like me before buying, you will be wondering two things right now; (a) Is this really a 4000DPI mouse, and how good can the wireless be at this price? (b) What are they skimping out on to get the price so low? Well, for (a), yes it really is a 4000DPI mouse, and the wireless is actually very good. Very good mouse movement even at the high DPI, and the connection is dedicated wireless rather than the far slower Bluetooth based cordless mice you used to get at this price point. I'm not sure of the data rate, but it seems fast enough (I'm guessing it will be about 500Hz). For (b), you don’t get the massive packaging and lots of paper; just the mouse in a brown cardboard box with minimal instructions. The actual body of the TechNet looks the part, but the bits that look like they might be rubber are actually moulded onto the plastic to get the price down. For the price though, you can’t complain. There are actually a fair few things to like here; Firstly, the instructions may be terse, but they have been written by an English speaker (TechNet is actually based in Liverpool). Obviously, that also means the mouse ships from a mainland address rather than from China. The electronics on the mouse are very good. The biggest accolade you can give to a wireless mouse is that it feels like a wired one, and the TechNet does just that. Zero lag and the wake-up is so short that you don’t notice it (click a mouse button and it comes straight back on). Did I also mention it goes up to 4000DPI? That’s 333DPI to the pound at the current price; bargain! The left-right button and mouse wheel action are also good; solid clicks and good scroll (but no left-right scroll on the wheel – its up-down only). Wireless mice go to sleep on inactivity, and the wake-up can be jarring (it was the reason I gave up on the first few generations of wireless). The idle time before sleep is reassuringly long and the wake-up-on-click of the TechNet is instantaneous, so no worries there, and actually much better than I expected. It is also totally plug-and-play on Windows 10; detected immediately when I plugged in the USB dongle, and DPI is controlled from buttons on the mouse. Oh, and I've also been playing Titanfall 2 with it. Slightly less refined on the casing than a more expensive mouse, but no issues in actual gaming. The only potentially deal breaking issues (if any at this price) are the lack of rubber on the body, and the much cheaper finish on the secondary buttons on the side (which I personally won’t be using: I would have preferred them to be omitted and have rubber on the mouse body). A lesser downside is the lack of customisation other than the usual default mouse customisations your OS offers. A typical Logitech gaming mouse has customisations to set LED colours and create DPI setpoints. I don’t miss any of this, and certainly would not want to pay x5 as much to have them! I don’t yet know how long it lasts on the battery; I will update when I know; I'm leaving it constantly on (even when not in use) with the 'no LED' setting. Overall, well worth the cash for the money-conscious, and probably good as a back-up for even the most snobbish gamer. Recommended.
Great wireless mouse, good quality for the price.
I've been using and testing the mouse for about 2 days now, wanted to make the switch from a wired mouse to a wireless one and having used Tecknets mice before I thought I'd give them a shot with wireless as well. I really really like it, it looks nice, although the LED's could be a bit brighter, it feels nice and even sounds nice (the click is actually quite satisfying). The mouse itself is pretty light but included with the AA Battery it needs makes it a little bit heavier, would be nice if it included some internal weights though just to weigh it down a little more. One of my biggest gripes with the mouse is that it switches itself off (idles) after a while and you need to click to get it to turn back on again, which can be quite inconvenient but I can imagine that you will get used to it. It's got a good range of DPI settings, so much so that it's taking me a while to find a good setting to get used to. Overall, I'm pleased with it and don't think I'll move back to my wired one anytime soon, as for the price, I'd easily say it's worth it, especially if you're just wanting to try out wireless mice before moving onto something more expensive like a Corsair. Update: I've been using the mouse for a while now and I absolutely love it, best mouse I have ever owned. I managed to get used to a DPI setting and it's just as smooth as my original mouse, I am overjoyed with the mouse.
Excellent value mouse, comfy, good size, great brand
I've been a fan of Tecknet for a while now, I got one originally as the cheapest way to get a quick replacement mouse with more than 3 buttons. This is my 3rd Tecknet mouse now, and I'm using all 3 of them on all computers. I got this one to replace my Razer gaming mouse. I'm sure an equivalent gaming mouse would be optimal for a professional e-sports player, for daily use, work and casual gaming, this is excellent. It's cheaper than everything else, is a nice size, comfy in the hand, and has that extra 3rd thumb button on it. The build quality is a little light, I'd prefer an option that doesn't have as many grilles and textures, it's a bit of a RoboMouse, but I love it, as I do with all my other Tecknet mice.

Very good value but not without some issues
This was the first time that I have bought this brand of a mouse, and overall I am impressed. I read through the small pamphlet that was supplied with the mouse but I had to find the software that I needed to use with it myself, not mentioned or guided to a website within the manual. It is the "Razer Synapse" software which provides you with the settings needed. I am using Windows 10. With that installed you can then customise many aspects of the mouse functions, even using the button above the scroll wheel will adjust the DPI of the mouse in use. See my second photo showing the visual indication of your DPI settings when you press this. My first photo shows the back removed of the mouse and the single AA battery fitted. You can also find the USB dongle you will need for the Wireless support. Using the mouse is superb, very responsive with positive clicks that aren't too loud or needing much effort. They are positive tho and no false clicks have been observed. Setting up of the mouse with BT can be tricky, however much of this can be dependant on your BT transmitter and not just the receiver within the mouse. My motherboard uses BT but the range and connection issues means that I prefer the wireless option. BUT you need to use BT to update future firmware, if released. Checking and mine had the latest already. Initially I had a problem where this mouse failed to wake from sleep. Eventually, see photo 3, I discovered that I needed to disable sleep functions on the two shown aspects of the mouse within device manager, otherwise it would often fail to wake. A rare continuing problem, hence the four stars, is that the mouse will fail to respond. It will leave a stuck cursor on the scree. No particular reason that I can see and no pattern as yet to observe. If that does happen removing the wireless dongle does not help, only removing the battery and then reinserting it brings the function of the mouse back to life. That is a very rare event tho and certainly not a deal breaker for me. See photo 4 for a screenshot of the first page of the software used with the mouse. Many options are available in various tabs. Overall I do recommend this mouse, both the build quality and its function is great. I am happy with this purchase. I do hope that this review has helped you. happy shopping 🙂
Super fast mouse
This mouse is amazing in every aspect; the feel, ergonomics and even the software. It doesn't hurt your hand after prolonged use, and the switch from Bluetooth to 2.4 GH is really fast. You can customize literally everything about the mouse in the software. Would highly recommend this mouse. The battery life so far is quite good (been using it for 2 weeks everyday with it being on for 12 hours and the battery life is still over 70 percent.). It comes supplied with an AA battery as well.
so far a great mouse for all tasks including gaming
arrived quick and packaged well. the mouse itself takes 1 aa battery supplied with mouse, good size mouse, not too small not too big, just right, has good feel to it, nice scroll wheel, you can get the software for any tweaks, the dpi button works well, adjusting dpi to your needs, excellent responsive buttons, nice touch feel, nice black matte finish on majority of the case, with black gloss design strip in middle, looks good, no lag issues, connected straight away, with the supplied usb plugin, extra small hardly notice its there, mouse goes to sleep if no activity, soon as you want to use, its instant on, i have been using for a week or so, so battery doing well yet, it also supports Bluetooth connection( you get a switch at bottom of mouse for that ), I've not tried it as using the 2.4ghz dongle is best for my needs, gaming seems good too, no lags, overall a excellent wireless mouse working perfectly, and battery life i will update again, and see how much use i get from 1 x aa battery, as i use it a lot in a day, so will see what's the max the battery lasts, , but so far very impressed by it.

Great Little Mouse! Very Impressed!
I never thought I’d write a review about a mouse, but wow, this little device impressed me so much I couldn’t not. Now, I’ve never owned a gaming mouse, I’ve always endured the ones that came with a keyboard, or the cheapest replacement I could buy if / when that also went bad. However I decided to get a decent one as I was sick of the cheap ones failing. Firstly, it rechargeable, so don’t be like me and spend an hour trying to find where the batteries go. Just plug in the USB adapter, switch it on and let Windows do it’s install thing. It’s lovely and light in the hand and when you’ve set the DPi - speed at which the mouse tracks around screen - you’re set to go. The buttons have a lovely light feel and subtle click. I hate not having that click to confirm I’ve hit the button and the weight of the buttons are perfect. It feels really ergonomic in the hand and the accuracy really makes a difference; especially as I do a lot of 3D design these days. In conclusion, I’m glad I went the extra and got a decent mouse this time. It really does make a difference. Lastly, how cool does it look in low light conditions? Check out the picture!
Great looks, value and features.
Beautiful looking mouse which was easy to setup and use within minutes. The nano adapter is excellent as it doesn't stick out miles. I personally think it isn't quite heavy enough for the serious gamer and it's not ideal for lefties like me. I can use it in either hand, but for gaming I have to have it in my left. When using it left-handed, you will likely catch the side buttons with your little finger. I simply chose not to program them to do anything, so no real issue. Since my keyboard is all singing, all dancing, I program that instead. Lighting effect is nice and its overall design matches well with my Cyborg Keyboard and Joystick. It's easy to program and there are loads of options. It is also comfortable to use for extended periods of time. I can recommend this mouse.
